Degenerate Breakfast is a band of best friends making original noise out of Memphis, TN. Composed of four music students (plus a philosophy major), they have combined their diverse musical backgrounds of alternative rock, blues, jazz, and folk to develop a unique sound that benefits from witty lyrics and creative song structure. At their live performances, you can expect to be greeted by a two minute punk banger with belted vocals, followed by an eight minute jazz ballad with a silky saxophone solo. In an effort to uplift their local music scene, they started hosting outdoor DIY concerts across the city pulling large crowds purely off of grassroots advertising.
